“Voo-Doo”, a Waco CG-4A glider, piloted by a British Wing Commander Richard G. Seys, and co-piloted by Wing Commander Fowler M. Gobeil, flies from Dorval Aiport in Montreal to a landing strip in Prestwick Aerodrome, Scotland, tugged after “Dacota”, a Douglas C-47 Skytrain transport aircraft, piloted by American Flight Lieutenant W.S. Longhurst and Flight Lieutenant C.W.H. Thomson. “Voo-Doo” carries just over 3,000 pounds of assorted cargo consisting of blood plasma for Russia, equipment for the Free French, B-24 bomber parts, Ford truck parts and a lot of fragile radio parts. Commander Seys also carries a bunch of bananas to his family in England.
