Steinway & Sons hires a new head of Concert and Artists Department: Schuyler G. Chapin – a former dean of the Columbia University School of Arts, General Manager of Metropolitan Opera, and a husband of Elisabeth Steinway, Theodore E. Steinway’s daughter. His tenure as a head of Concert and Artists Department at Steinway & Sons will continue for approximately two years.
