[…] I told him that I could get a divorce in the State of New York on the ground of infidelity, and he acknowledged that, but told me that he wished me not to bring a suit in New York because it would bring up his own divorce suit, which happened some time ago, and that he would thank me very much for not bringing it in New York.”
