Steinway and the rest of the directors that the reverse merger has been approved by CBS directors.
- After the meeting, Henry Z. Steinway makes series of phone calls from his house to Steinway & Sons dealers, informing them of the company’s change of ownership.
- In the evening of the same day, Henry Z. Steinway flies to Hamburg, to pay a visit to Walter Günther (who is recovering from heart attack, but is already back at work).
