- Charles P. Kimball, Centennial Commissioner of New York State, requests that Albert Steinway writes a statement, to be used by Kimball in the future, if necessary. C.F. Theodor Steinweg writes that statement in German, then William Steinway translates it into English and gives to his brother Albert, so that Albert can hand it to Charles P. Kimball.
