Albert Weber publishes an advertisement in New York Times (the first in the long series), quoting the Centennial exhibition report he wrote himself (even though the Centennial judges have significantly altered Weber’s report, Weber prints his original version). On the same day he also begins to distribute his circulars, containing the full text of the same report, among the visitors of the exhibition.
