A crowd of over 3,000 people gathers in front of the Steinway & Sons factory, ignoring heavy rain, shouting at every Steinway & Sons worker who enters the premises, and threatening to burn the factory. Three hundred policemen arrive for crowd control and to protect 150 workers brave enough to enter the factory. The police disperses the crowd without violence and remains to protect the workers.
