“Music and Drama” publishes yet another report: “Caught – The Steinways and the Nordheimers Caught in their own trap. They declare that the Hamburg Steinways and the New York Steinways cost the same and are sold at the same prices. But they invoice the Hamburg Steinways at about one-half the price of the New York Steinways clearing through the Customs House at Toronto. Competent counsel declares this to be an attempted fraud on Her Majesty’s Customs”. This time, William Steinway decides to ignore the attack, and provides no response.
