Santé Auriti, master Steinway & Sons casemaker and craftsman, is seen through the main window of New York’s Steinway Hall rotunda, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, fitting the braces, fitting and gluing the case moldings, rough carving the bottom edge of the rim, and fitting the legs of a new Steinway Louis XV (Model 501A) grand piano – a unique two-week public exhibition of Steinway & Sons craftsmanship.
