The Steinwegs leave Seesen. Of all he family members only 25-year-old C.F. Theodor decides to stay in Germany (most likely because by that time he is already engaged to marry Johanna Ludemann), but he moves from Seesen to the nearby town of Holzminden, where he will soon begin to work as a violin repairman and piano tuner.
