Henry W.T. Steinway sues the estate of C.F. Theodor Steinweg, claiming that his uncle’s will is invalid. (Henry W.T. will initially win his case against his uncle’s estate in New York Supreme Court, but the decision will be appealed by the family, and the legal battle will continue until 1900, when  Henry W.T. Steinway will finally lose.)
