Frederick T. Steinway, Henry W.T.’s youngest brother, writes to his uncle C.F. Theodor that the family is against his retirement, as the “improvements and inventions” authored by C.F. Theodor Steinweg have resulted in “the huge success and outstanding position of our company among all other piano makers”.
